Ponderosa Pines Where the mud sloshes
making my sneakers sink
All around me,
the giants tower

Their rough brown skins
dripping with sappy sweat
The scent of berry pie
Wafts through the woods

My dry pale fingers weave
waxed brown needles
into charms that I
hide in my sweetheart's pockets

I can sing to the trees
Like the sleek ravens overhead
My voice like a spirit

Alone, the Hand Upon Me This loud silence
broken by the squeal
of the heater before
it dies for a while

I lie in bed
And I'm alone

No wait...

I'm not alone.

I'm on my stomach
and on my right
someone is lying there
with me.

They're cold
I can feel their
freezing breath
triggering prickly
goosebumps on my neck.

Who's there?
Is anyone there?

No such thing as ghosts...

If you're there
I promise not to tell.
I just want to know.

Is someone there?

Dear Lord!

I have to scream
but I can't.
No voice.
No breath.

I can't move.

I'm in invisible chains
A hand that isn't there
covers my lips

Self Loathing I'm pale.
I'm skinny.
My ribs show so much.

I have no breasts.
I'm covered in acne.

I have the face of a dead child.
I might as well be one.

I do nothing but sleep and annoy people,
only able to escape to men
who wish I was pretty behind my back.

The only thing with volume
on me is my hair,
which might as well
be trimmed with a weed whacker
because it looks horrid.

My lips look stupid,
my nose is weird,
my eyebrows are the wrong shape,
my jaw line is stupid,
I can't smile straight
because of an overbite that was
supposed to be fixed but
wasn't properly fixed,

I've been trying to add more stuff lately, but school has been distracting. I've done more song writing than story writing these days, and those songs are something I'm trying to save for being revealed in a CD if I ever get around to grabbing the supplies and helpers to make a CD.

In the meantime, I've been trying to sniff out a birthday present for my boyfriend. He's turning 16 on the 27th and I still have no clue what to get him. Nothing seems just right...

Oh, should I stay on the art topic?

Soda
Bubbly
sugary goodness
like a marshmallow
that has been put in a juicer
which is better than
carrots in a juicer
because really
carrot juice
sounds disgusting
and can't be nearly
as delicious
or fatty
as carbonated
diet killing
Soda

Hey, I guess you're reading this because you want to know something about me or my art, huh?

Well, there's not much to say. I will soon try to use my webcam to shoot photos of my drawings, which range from horrible to great, from immature and stupid to mature and not for the underage eye. That is completely ironic, considering that I am a bit young.

I also do a lot of poetry and prose, as you can see by what I have on my profile already. The majority is old work that I put up a few years ago. I have since improved in my prose and am trying to get over writer's block to show you my new story.
